What is your returns policy?
You can return unused items within 14 days of delivery. You’re welcome to open the parcel and check the contents. To qualify for a return, items must be unused, unwashed, with all original labels attached, and in their original packaging.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of underwear, swimwear, pierced jewelry, and opened socks unless they are damaged.
How do I return an order?
You have 14 days to return your order after delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, in their original packaging, and with labels still attached. Please note that return shipping costs are not covered by Autrefois Clothing. To initiate a return, please send an email to info@autrefoisclothing.com. In the subject line, include your order number and use the email address you used for your purchase, as this helps us track your order more efficiently. We will respond within 24 hours with further instructions.
We recommend sending returns via registered mail and keeping the tracking receipt as proof of shipment. Autrefois Clothing cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit without tracking.
Once we receive your return, we will process it as quickly as possible. Please be aware that returns may take longer to process during sale or holiday periods.
I haven’t received updates about my return that arrived at your warehouse over 14 days ago. What should I do?
We sincerely apologize for any delays. Please reach out to us with your order number and tracking code, and we’ll assist you promptly.
When can I expect my refund?
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, and within 14 days of receiving your return. Refunds will be issued to the payment method used for the original order.
What are the costs to return an item?
Return costs vary by shipping company and country. Please visit our Return Portal for information on creating a return label.
As a reminder, we recommend using registered mail for all returns. If items are not shipped with tracking, we cannot be responsible for any items that go missing.
My purchased item is damaged. What should I do?

Did you receive my return?
Once we receive your return shipment, it will be processed within five working days. You’ll receive an update once your return has been processed and your refund initiated.
I paid with a gift card but want to return my order. How does that work?
You can follow the standard return procedure. Instead of a cash refund, the amount will be credited back to your gift card, allowing you to use it for future purchases.
Is it possible to exchange items?
Yes, we offer exchanges! Please note that all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Exchanges are only valid for items returned within 14 days of delivery.
Underwear, swimwear, and opened socks cannot be exchanged unless damaged.
